This isn’t about getting rich online. It is just about being rich with love from your sons and daughters.

You spend years of time and energy in raising your children. There are good times, and bad. But, every day you love your children and get it back in many ways. On Father’s Day, they go out of their way to make you feel special. In our busy lives, it is difficult to find the time to just enjoy each other. Today is the day to do just that.

It is also a time to reminisce about all the great times you’ve had. One of my best memories is when I met my daughter. I was stationed in Germany and my wife was too far along to fly there with me. So, I flew back to the states when she went into labor. My daughter was a day old when I got back. I remember when I first held her. I was shaking and nearly in tears. It was truly the happiest day of my life. I will never forget that feeling of joy.

This year, I got some wonderful gifts, and got to spend some quality time with my daughter. We both went to visit my dad for the weekend. Three generations of love and memories coming together for this special time.

This Father’s Day, reflect on the joys of fatherhood. It doesn’t matter if you are a father by biology, marriage, or adoption, we still feel the love.

Tell me about your favorite memories of your children, or your father. Don’t keep it to yourself, spread the joy.

Happy Fathers’ Day

If you want to quickly build your list, you need to have more than one squeeze page and more than one list. 3 or 4 splash pages for one list is good. But, if you really want to build your list in a big way, you need to have at least a few lists set up.

Say you have a great ebook on using traffic exchanges. Then, you build 3 squeeze pages to promote that one ebook. You may get one person signing up on each squeeze page each day. So you get 3 subscribers per day.

But, what if you have two other ebooks, or newsletters to promote? Such as how to use Adwords effectively and how to increase your Twitter followers. Now, you build 3 squeeze pages for each of those ebooks. You get one for each squeeze page for each list.

Traffic exchange X 3 pages = 3 subscribers

Adwords X 3 pages = 3 subscribers

Twitter X 3 pages = 3 subscribers

Total = 9 subscribers

You now get 9 subscribers each day!

It may seem difficult to build 9 squeeze pages. But, you can use the same three templates for each list that you have set up. Just change the ad copy and the AWeber code (or other autoresponder) in each one.

Remember to put your picture, or video, in the squeeze pages. Branding is key.

Good Luck.

There is a new affiliate marketing system available to you, which will bring you leads and big sales. It is called Affiliate Silver Bullet. It is basically a lead generation system in a box. It comes to you from the people who gave us the very successful CB Pirate. The subscribers of that program are still bringing in a lot of money.

What it provides you is a new “silver bullet” every week. These are campaigns designed around a high converting product. They have been extensively researched for you.

Your “silver bullet” includes the following:

Video squeeze page that brings in subscribers

High converting pre-selling mini site

5-part training series that you will send to your new subscribers and turn them into buyers

25 SEO rich articles that you can use on your blog and website

All of this saves you the time of researching, writing unique articles, creating squeeze pages, and writing an email follow up series.

My first question when I say this was, if everyone is getting the same “silver bullet,” then wouldn’t the market be saturated? When I researched it more, I found that there are a limited number of people that will be able to sign up. Also, each “silver bullet” will only go out to a small number of members. That takes care of the large competition problem.

Affiliate Silver Bullet launches tomorrow, April 28, 2010. I wouldn’t wait too long to get your free ebook and webinar spot. I’ll be there tomorrow for the webinar to get the best discount available.

Some people say that traffic exchanges don’t work. Well that is true…if they are not used properly. I see many sites in rotations that do not get results.

The wrong way to use them is to put your generic affiliate links in rotation. You know, the one that shows the sign up, or front page of the program you are trying to promote. I also see blogs, e-store fronts, informational sites, and more. Important to note: putting any sites in rotation with Adsense code in them will get your Adsense account deleted WHEN Google finds out.

The right way is to put splash, lead capture, and squeeze pages in rotation. The programs or products you promote will often have splash pages already created for you. Just look in the affiliate tools area at that website for your promotional pages. If not, you can easily create your own splash pages with the many tools that are available online. TE Toolbox is a great example.

Lead capture or squeeze pages are even better. You can also build those easily at TE Toolbox. You put those in rotation and give other surfers something of value in exchange for their email address. Then, you can recommend programs and products directly to them. This is what makes the pros so successful.

So, to recap. Generic affiliate links DO NOT work in traffic exchanges. Splash, lead capture, and squeeze pages DO work.

I’ll be looking for your pages in the traffic exchanges.

John Olson (A.K.A. The T.E. Guy) is considered a leader in the traffic exchange industry. He is known for his advocacy of branding and building your list. He published the first ever book on traffic exchanges, Hits, Clicks and Misses: The Traffic Exchange Experience.

Hits, Clicks and Misses: The Traffic Exchange Experience has been talked of very highly in the traffic exchange community. I decided to give it read.

I found the book to be very informative, to the point, and fun to read. Jon gives a good lesson on the history of traffic exchanges, and where they are headed. Much of the book gives you insight on the best ways to use the traffic exchanges. I learned a lot about branding, networking, when and how to promote, how to pick traffic exchanges, and more. There were a lot of little things that I hadn’t considered.

Jon’s writing style is excellent. He is straight to the point, honest, and funny. He writes with professionalism while speaking as an everyday guy. This makes it very easy to understand everything that he is trying to get across to you.

The two downsides to the book are appearance and format. When I first got my copy in the mail, I found that the cover wasn’t what I would expect from Jon. It is simply a title in a light blue box on the white cover. I imagined that there would be some eye catching graphics that would make the book “stand out.”

Although there was a lot of great content, it was merely a compilation of posts (or Issues) from his newsletter. I would have liked to seen that content put into a different format. Bringing all of that information into chapters would have made for a more authoritative book.

Overall, I enjoyed reading Hits, Clicks and Misses: The Traffic Exchange Experience. It is a great read for anybody who is serious about having a successful business online and doesn’t want to read a bunch of hype. As Jon would say, “that’s just my opinion.”

Have you ever wondered why you haven’t been able to build a huge downline, even though you’ve been promoting a program (or product) like crazy for months? It is because you are too late.

The prime time for promoting a new program is within the first week or so after launch. After that, the market starts becoming saturated with it. In the beginning, a handful of people are promoting the new program (usually JV partners). Once they each recruit a few a hundred people, those hundreds of people start promoting it. Now, your competition is so fierce, that finding more than a couple affiliates will become very difficult.

If you are on more than a couple lists, you will see some of them sending you very similar emails about the program all at once. After a couple days, you don’t hear much about it from them. That’s because their conversions will start to die down, and they will move on to the next thing.

So, this is what you do. You grab your membership the moment it is available (the first email you get). Then, start promoting it like crazy that day. Don’t let up for at least a week. You’ll catch more people that are getting in on the craze.

Your results will always depend on the program and how many JV’s are promoting it. But, I bet you will get much better results in that first week than in the next couple months.

I recently took over the traffic exchange Half Hour a Day. It currently has nearly 2,000 members, and it is growing each day. I knew it wouldn’t be easy, and found out just how easy it wasn’t. Even though there is already a large member list, it doesn’t make it any easier. If you plan on starting a new exchange, don’t expect members to just flood in without any work.

Many of the current members were not very active, and there were a lot of unused credits there. So, I started to email the members and give them a few tips, and created a dialogue with some of them. I instantly started seeing some great results. More members were becoming active again.

I then started a weekly contest. The top surfer of the week gets to have their links displayed in a Member Spotlight. I have had a good response from that too. This is really going to get the exchange going again.

Within the next couple weeks, the script will be updated. It will then have more contests available, and even more features for members. After the update, Half Hour a Day is going to get a facelift.

Being an active member of many traffic exchanges over the last few years, I have a firm grasp of what makes an exchange appealing to surfers. I am going to apply all of that knowledge, and work towards making the site one of the top exchanges on the net.

Stop by Half Hour a Day and take a look. Let me know what you like and don’t like. I’m not a “fire and forget” kind of administrator. Feedback is important to me. After all, it is your exchange, not mine.

Something occurred to me recently. Not all marketers really know how to do all the work required to create squeeze pages, create tracking and cloaking links, publish video, and other internet stuff which will help them become profitable. Most of this I had to spend hours on the computer figuring out. When I post articles or send out information, I work under the assumption that people already know or can figure this stuff out. Well, I probably shouldn’t assume these things. You know what happens when you assume things.

So, you tell me what you need to know. I won’t tell you that I am an expert at HTML or PHP. But, I will tell you that I understand enough of it to do what I need to do. With that said, send some questions my way. Even if I don’t know all the answers, I will find out, or show you where to go.

My goal with this blog is to give people the tools to make money online without spending their life savings. You shouldn’t have to give your money to people who just want you to buy their newest and coolest product. If you have the right tools, you will need very little money to get your business off the ground.

There are three main pages being shown in traffic exchanges, going from best to worst:

Personal squeeze or lead capture pages

Affiliate splash pages

Affiliate links

I would never put up affiliate links in rotation. They are very ineffective. There is just too much information.

The best is to display personal squeeze, or lead capture, pages. You will then be able to promote your programs to your subscribers. This is the best option, especially when you build a large list of subscribers.

Affiliate splash pages, the splash pages that your affiliate programs provide, can be effective if used properly. In traffic exchanges, you only have a brief moment to capture your visitor’s attention. You need to have a way for your ad to stand out. This is where personal branding comes in.

I do like to promote my programs in traffic exchanges to supplement my email campaigns. In that case, I like to use personal branding. The best site that I have found that does that for you is Vital Viral Pro. You can enter each of your sites and place your picture and a short testimonial on every affiliate splash page that you promoting. Now, when visitors start recognizing your face, they will be more inclined to click on your ad.

You can also set up rotators to group like campaigns to maximize your available sites in your traffic exchanges.

Inside the member area, you will be able to find how many views you have had, how many clicks, and at which exchanges. It is all summarized in a cool graphical dashboard that gives you a good idea how well your campaigns are doing.

Vital Viral Pro Dashboard

Another great thing, and a powerful tool in Vital Viral Pro is that you can have a banner and text links in the “viral bar.” This gives more exposure to your other programs. Not only that, when someone joins under you in Vital Viral Pro, they will be able to join you in your other programs that you have listed in the members area.

If you want another way to brand yourself in the traffic exchanges, stop on by and grab your free membership by visiting the clicking the banner below. Or, you can also download the ebook to learn more about it from the owner by clicking here.

Good luck in your branding.

The biggest names in traffic exchanges have released a new ebook called TE Listbuilding. I had to check it out, and was pretty impressed with how complete it is. There is a lot of information that hasn’t been released until now. It is packed with information on how to build your list. In detail, they discuss things like the difference between squeeze and splash pages, the sales funnel, autoresponders, graphic, and anything else related to it.

It is free to get the TE Listbuilding ebook, but I got to the second OTO when I decided to grab my rebranded copy of TE Listbuilding. When you upgrade, you also receive some great software with resale or giveaway rights. Certainly worth the small price. The members area is just a typical members area that I see with many memberships I hold. Nothing fancy, but has what you need.

I am now working on a squeeze page with my rebranded copy of TE Listbuilding. Since we are still in the early days of this, it will still be new to many people.

If you are still unsure how to build a list, this a great guide to get yourself started. It is easy to read and follow. See for yourself, visit TE Listbuilding here.
